    Working Principle

    Based on the ion exchange membrane chlor-alkali electrolysis process. Purified brine enters the electrolyzer, where direct current electricity drives the separation while the membrane prevents cross-reaction to ensure high purity.

    Anode Reaction: Cl⁻ → 1/2Cl₂ + e⁻ (Chloride ions oxidized to chlorine gas)
    Cathode Reaction: 2H₂O + 2e⁻ → H₂ + 2OH⁻ (Water reduced to hydrogen gas & hydroxide ions)
    Overall Reaction: 2NaCl + 2H₂O → 2NaOH + Cl₂ + H₂

    Main Process Units

    1. Brine Preparation and Purification System

    Dissolves raw salt into saturated brine and removes impurities to protect membrane cells and enhance stability.

    Equipment: Salt dissolving/brine storage tanks, chemical precipitation units, clarifiers, sand filters, ion exchange systems.

    Impurities Controlled: Calcium (Ca²⁺), Magnesium (Mg²⁺), Iron (Fe³⁺), Sulfate (SO₄²⁻).

    2. Membrane Electrolysis Unit (Core Section)

    Converts electrical energy into chemical energy to separate NaCl into NaOH solution, chlorine, and hydrogen gas.

    4. Chlorine Processing System

    5. Hydrogen Processing System
