Specifications of Sulphonation Production Line
Multi-tube falling film sulphonation (sulfation) reactor is used in this plant.
The organic feed materials include DDB, LAB, fatty alcohols, laurel ether, α-olefins etc.
Two control alternatives are available: conventional or computer controlled.
The Sulphonation Production Line is composed of following Processing units:

Safely Control
Focus on monitoring process parameters: temperature in sulfonation reactor; stirring rate in sulfonation reactor; flow of sulfonating agent; flow of cooling water.
Basic requirements for safety control: alarm and interlocking of reactor temperature; stability control and interlocking system for mixing; emergency cooling system; emergency shutdown system; safety relief system; sulfur trioxide leakage monitoring alarm system, etc.
The sulfonation reaction system shall be provided with a vent pipe and an emergency discharge system to prevent accidents.
